Heat Recovery Ventilation
Heat recovery ventilation, also known as mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR) is a energy recovery system using a heat recovery ventilator, heat exchanger, air to air heat exchanger which employs a cross flow system accross a heat exchanger. This is done between the supply and extract air flow by transferring the heat from the extract air to the cold ambient supply air. This system is used in offices, homes and retail to supply the area with fresh air in a cost effective way.

Servicing Air Conditioning
Did you know that dirty and blocked filters are the biggest cause of air conditioning systems failing?? also blocked and dirty filters increase the running time of the air conditioning system meaning a increase in energy consumption sometimes up to 60% more energy consumed. If your air conditioning system is not maintained it will result in a decreased life span, excessive breakdowns, higher energy consumption, loss of warranty, potential government fines and a build up of bacteria that will be circulated through your home or work place. Servicing your air conditioning does not need to be costly and ofset against the above it will save you money, Temptek pride ourselves on being a specialist in servicing air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems with many years experience in the industry we know what needs to be done and when to make your air conditioning and ventilation run efficiently and reliably.
R32 refrigerant is the new generation of refrigerant gas for air conditioning systems, the benefits of this gas are 10% reduction in energy consumption and low global warming potential which means it has less damage to the atmosphere than other common used gases such as R407c and R410A. Eventually these other gases will be phased out meaning if your air conditioning system is using these gases you will need to replace the units unless your system runs on R32 gas so we suggest if you can buy a R32 air conditioning system you do as in the long run it will save you money and will have less impact on the atmosphere.
Swimming Pool Heat Pumps
Swimming pools can be expensive to heat especially in the UK, a heat pump system is the cost saving answer to this. A heat pump is basically a air conditioning system in reverse transfering energy (heat) from the atmosphere to the water in your pool. This process is done by using the refrigerant gas cycle, as the gas is compressed by the compressor the pressure increases along with the temperature this then goes to the coil or heat exchanger where that heat is transferred to the pool water as the water passes through. Temptek are specialist in providing, installing and servicing swimmimg pool heat pumps we have the relevant experience and knowledge to be able to correctly size and install a swimming pool heat pump. We also offer other services in regards to swimming pools such as de-humidification, swimming pool room ventilation and swimming pool room heating.
